- 2lbs unbleached flour
- Warm water
- Virgin Olive Oil
Pile 2 pounds of unbleached flour on your surface and make a hole in the middle. Dissolve your yeast and salt into warm water. Pour this into the middle and add extra virgin olive oil. Start mixing the flour inside your ditch.
Then start mixing a little bit of the flour that is outside. With your hands and a spatula, continue working your dough. You can also use a mixer with a hook attachment to make your dough.
Let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size. Cover it with a piece of plastic film to prevent it from drying while it rises.
Cut your dough into 8 oz. pieces and shape the dough into nice, smooth pizza balls. Put this on a tray and cover it with plastic film. You will let this rise for 24 hours before cooking.
